NEET 2026 Re-Exam: Biology Easy, Chemistry & Physics Tough

Biology – Easy to Moderate (Most Scoring)

Biology was the easiest and most scoring section of the paper. Most questions were directly based on NCERT and focused on topics such as Genetics, Human Physiology, Reproduction, Ecology, and Plant Physiology. Well-prepared candidates found the section manageable.

Chemistry – Moderate

NEET UG 2026 Dress Code and Exam Day Guidelines

NTA's dress code for NEET UG 2026 will be strictly enforced at every centre. Candidates will need to follow these rules to avoid last-minute entry issues:

  • Clothing: Light-coloured, half-sleeve garments only; full-sleeve clothing will not be permitted
  • Footwear: Slippers or sandals with low heels; shoes will be barred
  • Accessories: No watches (analogue, digital, or smart), jewellery, badges, or metallic items
  • Hair accessories: Hairpins, clips, and large accessories will not be allowed
  • Religious/customary attire: Permitted, but candidates wearing such attire will be asked to report early for additional frisking
  • Documents to carry: Admit card (printed), valid original photo ID, passport-size photograph, postcard-size photograph, and PwD certificate where applicable
  • Prohibited items: Mobile phones, calculators, smartwatches, Bluetooth devices, geometry boxes, pens/pencils not provided by the centre, and any written material

Candidates will also undergo biometric verification, including fingerprint and facial recognition checks, as part of NTA's expanded security framework for this re-examination. Where biometric capture fails due to technical issues, candidates will be asked to sign an undertaking at the entry gate rather than being denied entry.
