The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) has announced the revised schedule for NEET PG 2025. In line with a Supreme Court directive, the exam will now be conducted in a single shift on August 3, 2025, from 9:00 AM to 12:30 PM. Supreme Court Directive on NEET PG 2025

The postponement was initiated due to a Supreme Court directive in the case W.P. No. 456/2025 (Aditi & Ors Versus National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences & Ors). The Court emphasized the need for transparency and fairness in the conduct of the exam and directed that:

“We, accordingly, direct the respondents to make necessary arrangements for holding the NEET-PG 2025 examination in one shift, duly ensuring that complete transparency is maintained and secure centres are identified and commissioned.”
